The
Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport has barred all International flights
for one week from March 22 onwards amid the coronavirus pandemic. Several passengers queued up at the departure
lane of IGI Airport (Terminal-3). No scheduled international commercial passenger
flights are allowed to land in India from today for one week as per Government
of India's advisory.
According
to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of positive
cases of coronavirus in India now stands at 315.
There
have been four deaths in the country due to coronavirus so far as per
information given by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Various
international flights have also been suspended at Mumbai airport amid COVID-19
outbreak.
